About the Author

After graduating from Hunter College in New York City with a degree in creative writing and theater, Edith Layton became one of the leading lights in Historical Romance, winning awards and publishing more than thirty novels and numerous novellas.

Edith and her husband raised three children, later becoming devoted grandparents. Edith was an active volunteer and advocate for pet rescue and adoption. Her last novel was published in 2009, a few months after she passed away.
