Lee Child

Lee Child is the British author of the popular Jack Reacher series of thriller novels. His early career was in television where he was a presentation director. He was involved in popular shows such as Brideshead Revisited, Prime Suspect, and Cracker. In 1995, his career in television ended and he began writing novels. His first novel, “Killing Floor” won the Anthony Award for Best First Novel.

Child has splits his time between an apartment in Manhattan and a country house in France. He enjoys reading, music, and watching sports – particularly the Yankees, Aston Villa and Marseilles soccer. He is married with a grown daughter.
