Living without modern conveniences can be a drag sometimes. During the 18th Century, necessity, and a more efficient way of getting things done became the mother of invention. While it is a blessing to enjoy some simple luxuries in life, these amenities should not enslave us. It's not fair to expect more from parents than what they can afford.
