Living without modern conveniences can be a drag sometimes. During the 18th Century, necessity, and a more efficient way of getting things done became the mother of invention. While it is a blessing to enjoy some simple luxuries in life, these amenities should not enslave us. It's not fair to expect more from parents than what they can afford. In this story, Waylee is ashamed that her Mother doesn't have the money to buy some basic things her friends already have. Will the peer pressure be more than Waylee can bear?
