Curtis Daniels, wanted for murder in Texas, runs with Mexican bandits led by Guerrero, who robs and kills rich and poor alike as he seeks to become king of Sierra Madre. Not a killer at heart, Daniels leaves the band after a bloody melee. With Buffalo, a huge gringo, and Vasquez, a small Mexican, he sets out to avenge the deaths and to rescue Angelina, captured by Guerrero. They leave a trail of corpses as they fight their way to the bandits' lair.
