Where Is It Coming From? is a special window into the city of Detroit and into childhood.Proceeds from this book will support two organizations: 826michigan, which provides free writing and tutoring programs for more than 3,000 school-aged students in Detroit, Ypsilanti, and Ann Arbor, Michigan; and The James and Grace Lee Boggs School of Detroit, which serves 80 students in Kindergarten through fifth grade and whose mission is to nurture creative, critical thinkers who contribute to the well-being of their communities.
