Two weeks before the last game the school's mascot “Sunshine” is missing. Most of the school's students believe it's a practical joke; after all, it's happened before.
Each time, this happens, the mascot miraculously appears for the half-time activities, on the day of the game. After the announcement, of the kidnapping, one budding entrepreneur takes bets on the exact time Sunshine appears on the field.
When another dog, related to Sunshine, goes missing, Zachary questions whether this is a practical joke or something more sinister. Against the wishes of his mother, Young Zachary and his two friends decide to solve the mystery of the missing dogs.
