I was born in Huddersfield, Yorkshire, England in 1941, but today, consider myself “a citizen of the world,” even though I have yet to travel it. My journeys have taken me to live in Scotland, New Zealand and Canada, and should I be tagged with the label “Immigrant,” then that would be perfectly acceptable to me.As a first-time writer, I have truly discovered the joy of putting word to paper, and with it, this project developed a will of its own. The story evolved from many actual events that occurred in my own life from infancy to boyhood, up to and including the discovery of what I truly believe was Robin Hood's hidden grave site, which occurred during the summer of 1952. Thereafter the fictional events developed with ease and were written for the enjoyment of all age groups. Someone once said imagination is more important than knowledge, so if my intelligence could catch up to my thirst for imagination, there would be no telling what may be possible. I believe I am an ordinary man living in an extraordinary world. Life is truly a journey, to be celebrated along with each departure and arrival, and I am thankful to all whose paths I have crossed on route.
