On a top-secret mission, Alpha Company's second in command, Eros, are forced to work with a female FBI agent who is cramping their style. They don't need some female in their midst telling them how to work a case. But when Eros gets a good look at the long legged blond, he might change his mind. Especially when he gets a load of her tattoos and senses there's more to her than he first suspected.

Kalie is forced to work with this outlaw band of shifters in order to find the females, as well as her sister, who've been kidnapped by the Ridge Runners. Though Kalie is snubbed at first, she has special powers that only someone like her, one of royal lineage, can possess. She allows herself to be kidnapped by the Ridge Runners, hoping they will lead her to her sister, but the plan falls apart and she escapes, right into Eros' arms.

The two put aside their issues and work together with Alpha Company, and other nearby packs, to find Kalie's sister. The heat and the passion between them will have to wait. Once they find Kalie, their future together isn't set. Fate and the rules of the royals take the decision away from them. They each have to give up something in order to gain more with the other.

The two, one black wolf and one white, are a force to be reckoned with. Nothing and no one will get between them, not even all the forces their enemies can throw at them.
