And if that isn't enough, she finds herself on the run, fleeing to escape the wrath of a crime syndicate seeking revenge for Brad's illicit actions. Feeling lost and totally alone in the world, Mara wonders if even God has turned His back on her. Dazed by her circumstances, but fearing that her life is in danger, she struggles to move forward. With the help of her friends, both old and new, she places her trust in God and finds an inner strength and hope for a future.
