Amanda Monroe was at the pinnacle of her career after having landed the lead part in a highly sought after theatre dance production. She and her long-time partner of six years were set to open in two months. However, one fatal move lands her in the ER as she cannot feel her legs.

While she awaits her fate on whether she will ever be able to walk or not, she toys with the idea of giving it her all to complete possibly one last show or never dancing again. What is she willing to sacrifice...her career or the man she loves? For she cannot take away the one thing he loves -- and that is dance.

For Philip Hart it was love at first sight though he has never admitted it to Amanda, and as far as she knows dance is the only love he has. Yet when she recently falls and hurts herself he realizes that he has been taking her for granted by being just her dance partner. With the possibility of her career coming to an end, he wonders if he can show Amanda that if she falls he will be there to pick her up?
