"Water" is a liturgical essay on the death of civilization and man's respite in the hereafter of his lifetimes. It is a wish as well as a farewell. It bodes well for man that he receives such good news of his becoming. This book is an allegory of fame and despair and loss and recovery as well. It is a depiction as well as a story of how man came to lose his soul in the process of evolution and destruction of the masses. It leaves man with the feeling of relief and profound distance from his past and the present. It takes one on a journey of discovery where none survive but the fittest and all die but those who seek the highest path first. "Water" is the beginning of a fresh start for both man and his concubine, Nature, where man begins again in the realm of logic rather than the darkness of religio-impractical ritual and sacrifice. Man cannot escape his past but can rebuild again towards a better future. At once, this book leaves us breathless to equate ourselves with the profound nature of our lives in the hands of those who passed before us and who now equate themselves as our masters and our governors. We cannot escape the awareness that somewhere along the way man gave up too much and ended up with nothing, and somewhere along the way, man lost something that couldn't be retrieved from the past nor found in the future: Man lost his path and his way back home again; Man lost his way home from the beginning. "Water" is about the loss of way for both man and his enemy, Nature. Man is lost and nature has enemied man in order that man may regain his post as natural. So be it. "Water" be it. So be it.
