This third part of the trilogy again features Mark Watson, who appeared in AMBITIONS END and WINNERS NEVER LOSE, but he is now considerably older than in the first two books; he has been knighted for services to industry; is Chairman of several companues as well as a non-executive director of two Charities. He continues to wheel and deal in the cut throat world of big business, something at which he excels.
However, secretly recruited for a top secret project to run alongside his demanding business activities, now for the first time in his career he becomes enmeshed in politics at the highest level as the worlds of Monarchy and Government intermingle and clash.
Simultaneously managing the project along with his demanding business roles which involve takeovers and sell-offs, negotiations with Chinese bankers and Russian businessmen the action takes him to America and Russia.
At the same time while continuing to cheat on his wife and a succession of girlfriends, Mark needs to draw on all his acumen, tough approach to life and innate desire to succeed as the story builds to its climax.
