Jill Quint, MD, is a forensic pathologist who along with a group of friends, solve murder mysteries. She has been providing second opinions about the cause of death of a loved one for nearly five years. Both she and her friends have full-time day jobs. Jill has a vineyard she has been nurturing to this year's first vintage of Muscato wine. They take on about a case a month. This is the story of the death of Graeme St. Louis, a young attorney living in a wealthy suburb near San Francisco who has died from necrotizing fasciitis (better known as gangrene). His death appeared to be from natural causes due to the infection caused by a small wound resulting from a brush with sharp coral while scuba diving. Jill soon becomes the next target after she proves that Graeme was murdered and the medical examiner changes his cause of death. Will she stay alive long enough to find the killer? What was the problem that the victim had to die for? From the underwater world of San Juan, Puerto Rico to the sun drenched hills of central and northern California, why are so many people trying to kill Jill? Vials is a riveting story that will keep you guessing until the end
