Up In Smoke — Susan L. Larmon

Celia is about to pull off a magic trick worthy of the great Houdini. She will disappear from her entire life in a virtual puff of smoke. No one will have the faintest idea where she is, or whether she is ever coming back. After moving to another part of the country, Celia begins to rebuild her life from scratch, changing her name and anything else that would enable her family to find her. Starting over means reinventing herself, as a single girl with no responsibilities who can live alone, take a restaurant job that interests her, and pursue her love of theater by trying out for a part in a local production. Celia didn't anticipate causing such a stir among the single-male population, however. Before long, she has inadvertently captured the hearts of no less than three young men, and even unknowingly fueled the appetites of several much older married men. Has she reached the point where all these entanglements could prevent her from ever changing her mind about the life she left behind?
