Until Dawn Tomorrow — David Armstrong

Birmingham cop Detective Inspector Frank Kavanagh is pursuing a murderer who may have killed several times...but he feels that he 'knows' the man he is looking for. In his search for the killer, Kavanagh becomes increasingly disturbed by his own aggressive impulses. Gradually he pieces together a dark history of infidelity and deceit, and an obsessive personality emerges. For Kavanagh, though, the final confrontation is as much with his inner self as with the murderer.
