Delilah's husband was murdered by a ranch hand that stole nearly everything. With no income she has very limited options to make enough money to survive in this wild gold town.

John and his two partners just robbed the gold coach heading out of town. Moments later, it's snatched right out of John's hands. The trio make every attempt to recapture the gold, but are outrun by the thief.

John can't put his finger on it, but there was something about that thief that was very unusual. Back in town, John believes he may have figured it out as he crosses paths with a beautiful woman riding her horse. Bent on getting his gold back, he tracks her down. Angry, frustrated, and unable to intimidate her, he is enthralled with Delilah's inner strength and character.

Uncovering her past, John determines to help this woman get justice and get his gold back at the same time. But, he's not exactly clear what his motivation really is. As much as he loves gold, something has come over him, and the gold seems to have lost its luster next to Delilah.

These two thieves may get more than gold in the process.
