Two Scoops of Seafood — Gehla S. Knight

Mike and Lester, two mid-life travelers hawking burial insurance policies to crones and the unwary, scheme to hit the jackpot with another big score. They interrupt a robbery when they stop for a cold one, and end up hoofing it to town. On the road again, they get picked up by an Elvis zealot who plans to open a museum for the King in Memphis with her treasured relics she hauls around in her Graceland Vanatorium.

Nothing is working out according to plan for the two misguided hucksters when they are stalled in a hippie haven with man-eating pets, commit a major felony by accident, and head out a few leaps ahead of a local posse.
