The Adventures of Junior and Spike the Wonder Dog. Book 12: Tubing, a children's book written and illustrated by Moshe. The book begins with a picture of Junior wearing overalls and tall boots. Junior and Spike run to say good morning to Dad, who is working in the garage. Dad has Junior and Spike go to his old school bus to fetch some inner tubes. They load the tubes into Old Red, before going to the Purple Pantry Food restaurant for breakfast. From there they drive north of Winkleman to the Gila River, where Dad inflates the inner tubes and ties a piece of canvas onto the top of one, so Spike has a place to sit. The family tubes down the Gila River, where they see an antelope, mountain goat and mountain lion standing on the bank. As they near two people in a canoe, it capsizes. Spike jumps off his inner tube to the rescue, while Dad paddles to the shore to leave Junior and the inner tubes, before joining in the rescue. Spike and Dad carry the canoeists to shore, before Dad retrieves their canoe. Once the canoeists are okay, the family continues floating down the river, where they see a mallard duck. While tubing, Dad tells the story about a boy and his dog that help his father ferry people across the Missouri River on a raft during 1800s.
