Our lovable characters Trouble, Duck and Big Dog return in book two and attempt, once again, to sneak away and tackle a new adventure, complete with novel ways for them to get into trouble Regardless of the kind of mischief they get into, their hero, Jimmy, always shows up in the nick of time to bring them back, safe and sound. In this story, the three friends take a trip to the vet's office and manage to sneak off into the woods, where they meet up with a skunk. Later, while on a camping trip, their adventure causes one of them to get hurt and they all begin to think that being at home-or in this case back at the campsite-may not be so bad after all. Author Bio: Esther L. Mackey is the successful author of The Adventures of Trouble, Duck and Big Dog, and will be creating more adventures for them in the near future. She has also written a story for 9-11 year-olds entitled In Between - My Brothers and Me, and the upcoming Little Bear and Honey Bee, a picture book for young children. Esther completed the course at the Children's Institute of Literature in April, 2005. She is retired, married, a mother, a grandmother, and a lifelong resident of Joliet, Illinois.
