Parker Blake didn't choose to be born into poverty with drug addicted parents. At 18, he joined the Army and choices were made for him. Missy and Parker get busy on projects like adapting the house for her brother's wheelchair and building a new chicken coop. Parker wants to become a rodeo star, which isn't easy for a city slicker.
