Tourists and Other Monsters
Eric Margrave, monster hunter, is phenomenally bored. Lately, all the work has been tedious stuff, like fighting giant ogres (he has a very odd definition of tedium) for chump change. So when a mysterious foreign investor offers him the better part of a million dollars for a mysterious delivery, he's quick to jump on it.

Of course, when a deal sounds too good to be true, it is. The mystery in the delivery turns out to be that only Eric doesn't seem to know what he's delivering; a great many very powerful folks from all over the world are fully aware, and VERY interested in taking if off his hands. Now the only question is who is most likely to kill him, the Japanese demigod, the German fanatic, or his own mysterious client.

Because the only thing worse than annoying tourists... are annoying tourists who see humans as their vacation buffet.
