Token Girl — Paul Enock

In the space of a day, Alice goes from being Joe's girlfriend to finding herself imprisoned within a religious community in the Canadian woods. Its leader and moral compass, Doctor Izal, believes Alice, like the other girls Joe has passed on, to be a fallen woman requiring control and protection to safeguard not only her soul, but those of mankind in general.

Within this community, extra-marital sex is a mortal sin and the subject of the seventh Commandment. As such, the men of the village take extraordinary and, for the women, cruel and frustrating steps to make the act impossible. Fortunately for the men, the biblical definition does not include oral or anal sex and, in order to free the village from the sin of ‘wife coveting', all female inhabitants are compelled to offer these services. The same is true for breast milk, an invaluable resource in a vegetarian community.

But even within this rather unusual community, Alice's role is special. For her full attention, all they need to do is drop a token into the machine.
