All signs point to murder in this story from mystery author Marcia Talley, originally published in DEATH BY HOROSCOPE, an anthology of astrological mysteries from some of the most popular crime writers in the zodiac, edited by Anne Perry.

“Each author had to choose a sign of the zodiac as a theme, and since I'm an avid sailor, naturally I chose pisces,” Marcia said. “‘To Catch a Fish' was inspired by the time I spent living aboard a 37-foot sailboat in the Bahamas -- not a floating palace, I assure you, but a space the size of your average American bathroom -- but I wrote the story while on vacation in Hawaii, so I definitely had sunshine, palm trees and gin-clear water as well as murder on my mind.

Marcia Talley's Agatha and Anthony award-winning short stories have appeared in more than a dozen collections, including anthologies edited by New York Times best-selling authors Lawrence Block, Elizabeth George, Laura Lippman, and Anne Perry. They have been selected for inclusion in The World's Finest Mystery and Crime Stories and The Deadly Bride and 21 of the Year's Finest Crime and Mystery Stories, edited by Ed Gorman and Martin H. Greenberg.

Marcia Talley is the author of ALL THINGS UNDYING and eight previous mystery novels featuring survivor and sleuth, Hannah Ives. Hannah's tenth adventure, A QUIET DEATH, will be published in the summer of 2011 by Severn House.
