Jake Newman keeps getting beat up by a pack of boys who enjoy tormenting him. Jake's uncle pushes him to study Taekwondo, and Jake comes to excel at it. When the bullies at school push him too far, Jake puts them in the hospital. But he learns the real world doesn't honor people who solve their problems with violence. He's left to ponder a confusing question. How can he protect himself without striking back?
