This volume contains books five and six of the Thraxas series. In Thraxas and the Sorcerers, Thraxas and Makri are recruited to assist Lisutaris, Turai's most powerful sorcerer, in her quest to become Head of the Sorcerer's Guild. In Thraxas and the Dance of Death, Thraxas is again surrounded by sorcery after Lisutaris finds herself in trouble. Thraxas, whose only real ambition is to drink beer in peace, ends up struggling to solve crimes in a city now infested with centaurs, unicorns and various other unwelcome mythical creatures.
