After the loss of his son and then his wife, Tawrett Fames returned to the planet where he declared his nuptials. With adults incapacitated by a disease, the company uses teenagers and even younger to serve as soldiers to fight for them. The human population of Sabimn are terrorized by a race called Coerallins. The Coerallins use organic technology for weapons and machinery, as well as to enslave the humans. Desperate for change, the human leaders attempt to coax Tawrett and his soldiers to help defeat their foe by destroying the Eye Ruby. Tawrett is reluctant, not willing to get involved with their dispute. But the mysteries of Sabimn keep growing as he discovers the secret to his brother's death and much more. Tawrett must make a decision to help the human race or discard their hopes. Surrounded by friends and enemies, he is unsure who to trust. Sabimn's magical properties force the past memories to surface and haunt him, where he will discover new mysteries and perhaps answers to his future. Will he return to his old ways, or continue acting on the company's desires.
