Adam and Jacob are two normal brothers with one exception: Jacob, the youngest, experiences a terrifying recurring nightmare. As the two high school students plan a camping trip over spring break, they stumble on an old family photo that Jacob becomes obsessed with. The photo leads the brothers to the town of Green Spring, where they are thrust into a mystery. Years before the town's spring dried up, leaving this small farming community without water. After a long drought the trees have died and houses sit empty. Everyone blames the witch who lives at the far end of the valley. People believe she cursed the town and dried up the spring but only the oldest residents know the facts, and no one will talk about it. Adam and Jacob are befriended by two local sisters who help the boys navigate the paranoid community. What started as a mystery to learn about the people in the photo becomes a quest to uncover what everyone has tried to hide for many years. As the four teens come close to the truth, events lean toward the supernatural. Jacob and Adam are forced to risk their lives to solve the mystery of The Witch of Green Spring.
