The Village — Ron Brechner

The third installment of the Eskimo Kids series follows Nenaw, Sitka, and their faithful dog, Lutka, to a village, where they receive care, love, and education. As the kids adapt to this new way of life, the village is forced to endure the most terrible winter in its history, and the villagers soon begin suffering from hunger and cold. Hoping to repay the kindness of the people who took them in, Nenaw and Sitka offer their most precious possession in an effort to save the village. But will it be enough to buy the supplies that the villagers desperately need?
