Cruickshank a banker and industrialist, well-known for setting up a charity awareness of ill-treatment in some parts of Africa of its indigenous population, has also been in the news for corruption after Raimond, once his friend let it be known that all was not as it should be concerning the funds for the charity. Corruption and top government ministers are mentioned and Oliver begins to feel under pressure like never before. Cruickshank names a list of people which Oliver is authorised to meet and a few others that he isn't.
