The Unquiet Summer — Mary Mackie

Summoned by an incoherent letter, down-to-earth journalist Jenny travels to Yorkshire to discover the truth behind her sister's fear of the old mansion that was her husband's inheritance. She became aware of the force which dwelt in the house, a force that was using young Beth Mitchell for its own secret purposes. Jenny turned to Rob for help, but in the end it was Nature who put an end to the legends of October House.
