Twenty years into the Darkness, the prophet has been asked for rain. The only way he can fulfill this request is to have the Unjust brought before him. Cleansing them -- the Unjust -- will end the summer drought... or so he hopes. After mistakes, on all sides, he and his group flee for the safety of his brother's home. If he is lucky, rain will come. If not, he and his family may face an ugly mob, bent on revenge. Either way, there will be some explaining to do, and the prophet knows what must be said. It's a matter of life and death.
