Andrew Marcus was having one of the worst Valentine's ever. Driving home, he didn't expect to see an almost naked woman walking down the highway. Cat Jones, didn't understand why she suffered terrorizing nightmares on the night of Valentine's. She didn't remember what brought her out to the side of the road looking like a drowned rat. She couldn't remember anything before Andrew Marcus found her. Because she wouldn't speak, he did the only thing he could think of, and that was to take care of her.
Three years later and she still has no recollection as to why she was covered with mud and blood. The nightmares were still strong and terrorizing both Cat and Andrew. But none more so than the growing attraction Cat had toward her boss, Mr. Marcus. If only he could see the signs. Was it so bad for him to love her more than a friend and P.A.?
Sitting in the Cat's Meow, she tries to drink herself into a comma so she could survive the night -- alone. However, she doesn't expect to meet a man who is a doppelgänger to her boss. With him buying her drinks and inviting her over -- she wonders if she has the courage to do something bold -- for once in her short life.
As the best P.A. out there, Andrew makes a harsh discovery when he realizes that his best friend Cat is still not strong enough to spend Valentine's alone. With her not answering his calls, or at home, he frantically searches for her. However, in his search, he finds himself at a lounge attracted to a beautiful woman. And even though he spends most of his holidays with his P.A., he decides to enjoy this mysterious woman. He knows Cat will show up -- most likely in his bed, as she had done for the past few years.
Will this Valentine's be another holiday of fright, or will Andrew and Cat finally get to enjoy the holiday?
