The Tales of Riverdell — Don Galloway

Pete Clarke is looking forward to his first night as Nightshift manager in the soon to be re-opened 'One Shoppe' supermarket on the outskirts of the sleepy Scottish village Riverdell, but he is about to embark on an unexpected task with the oddest bunch of misfits - all in one place and working under him on the Night Shift. The last of the doomed Vedikian race has been ejected into space; bound on a trajectory for Earth; specifically for Riverdell village. Crashing into the woods of Emerson Glen, the creature takes refuge in the new supermarket in order to continue the crysalis stage of its development, but it has been infected with a deadly parasitic organism bent on devouring all life in its path. With the possibility of a Galaxy-wide pandemic, the Galactic council summon the elite of the Bounty Hunter cartel - 'The Seeker' tasked to track down the target with a destruction order in place, and a pair of stowaways in tow. But can Pete and his oddball bunch of staff render the creature powerless, save the world and make sure that the store is ready for it's grand re-opening...?
