The Solar Winds in a mining ship hunting gold and platinum in the Asteroid Belt. Although daily life in space is as boring as normal life anywhere else, when a ship is discovered already full of gold the crew salvages the payload to form one massive cargo ship out of the two. Rich beyond their wildest dreams the Captain and crew build another ship, this time to mine ice for Ceres, the hub of commerce in the Asteroid Belt. While things go rather normally with single males and females living together and left to their own romantic devices, all seems normal until Reptoid eggs are found in the ice delivered to Ceres.
