The Secret of Sarah Revere

What matters? The truth? Or what people think?

This question plagues thirteen-year-old Sarah Revere, daughter of the famous Patriot Paul Revere whose series of rides for the Patriots brings intelligence to the towns surrounding Boston.

Dr. Joseph Warren, a dear family friend, watches over the Revere family during Paul's frequent absences. But Sarah fears that Warren's interest in her stepmother, Rachel, is less than honorable, and she confronts Warren with her suspicions, driving a rift between the two.

As Sarah struggles with her own personal war, the fight for independence gains momentum. Paul Revere is away more often, Warren goes off to fight, and Sarah is left with unanswered questions and a new realization as to what is truly important.
