The Search for Willie — Willo Davis Roberts

Willie mysteriously disappeared from the small Nevada town where he had been prospecting for gold. Now, his fiancee Carrie and his sister Georgie have come to search for him.

For reasons they do not understand, no one in the town admits to having ever seen Willie. Even the president of the bank - the dashing Sam Stone - claims he has never heard of him. In spite of this, Georgie finds Sam deeply attractive.

Then Carrie spots Willie's watch on the vest of a surly stranger. She is certain now that Willie is somewhere nearby - and she means to find him, no matter what the risk...
