The Rivers of Klairn

Mordis, Head Protector, has his hands full. As the post-apocalyptic planet Klairn re-introduces industry, he has new problems. Iona Stonefinder joins fellow spies on her first mission investigating oil spills in the Klairn waters. Iona, inexperienced and na¯ve, is guarded by ship’s navigator, Drake, who tries to keep her out of trouble and out of the arms of lusty scientist Enoki, known womanizer. Meanwhile, Iona’s jealous boyfriend Lexti must stay on shore researching various packs of dangerous and often maddeningly uncooperative animals. A mysterious woman seems to be after Lexti’s heart…or is she a spy? After some study, he learns she may have connections to Magusa, the company under investigation. Here is an environmental parable which picks up where Protectors of Klairn leaves off. It’s a fun romp across oceans, fields, and into a few taverns and boat cabins with a colorful cast of characters and creatures alike.
