New Orleans Ass't U.S. Attorney Jake Banks and ex-girl friend FBI agent Kitty Douglas team up to stop Ignacio Torres, a Santeria priest and sorcerer, and his cult-like gang, Los Cuervos, from smuggling assault weapons through the New Orleans port to drug cartels in Mexico, but the sorcerer and his men become the hunters, stalking Jake and Kitty in the dark corners of the gritty French Quarter.
