Tony's former foster daughter, Christi Fischer, asks him to investigate when one of her clients disappears. Christi is a social worker at a women's shelter in Pueblo, Colorado.Miranda Carrington had moved to her own place a month before. When her parents reported her missing, investigators find a note saying that she left to make a fresh start. Neither Christi, nor her parents, believe that.Tony calls the detective in charge of the case, who encourages him to keep looking.
