The Quest to find Waylin the Wise — Clifford B. Bowyer

Mages of the Imperium have long considered themselves to possess the only source of magic in the world. They are the most highly trained, most educated, most advanced magic users in the world. But even believing this, rumors have frequently surfaced of alternative forms of magic outside of the borders of the Seven Kingdoms of the Imperium. Olenjo, a highly trained and respected Mage, is curious about these alternative forms of magic and goes on a quest to find a legendary wizard from another land. What is a wizard? How is the magic of a wizard different from that of a Mage? Leaving all that he knows behind, Olenjo travels across the ocean and braves many unknowns to learn the answers to his questions. The closer he gets, the more he discovers, and the more he craves to know the truth on his quest to find Waylin the Wise.
