THE QUAN SHANG OPERA — Erich von Neff

San San and her family live in Guanzhou, China. Her parents arrange a marriage for her to Geary Quan a garage mechanic in San Francisco who also owns the Quan Shang Laundry and the building which he inherited. Geary turns out to be a brutal man, but San San does not want to return to her parents from a failed marriage which they had arranged. San San works in the laundry, but this is not enough for Geary. To make more money Geary forces San San to work in Chinatown's most exclusive brothel: Blossom Wong's: The House of Delirious Harmony.
