It is believed by some that our souls incarnate into many lives, choosing paths that strengthen our weaknesses and teach us understanding of others. Should this be so, we would experience both sides of light, which is goodness, and dark, which is considered evil. We would choose our color, gender, abilities, and disabilities to aid us in these lives. We would also choose which worlds would best benefit our path and choose others we wish to incarnate with as they would choose us. Thus the "I recognize you from somewhere" thought we have all experienced. Following this belief, most of us have and will live many lives as different genders, colors, classes, and varying abilities. No choice or path would ever be wrong because our spirits would grow from each experience. Our Father and Mother God, in their infinite wisdom, would send angels and guides to assist us on these journeys. Morilena and Duncan have each chosen to live another life, stretching their souls' capacity for understanding of who they are individually and how they relate to all that is of the gods. They have shared many lives, in many capacities. Friends, lovers, parent/child, and distant acquaintances. Each has chosen guides who are best suited to assist them in this journey, and they have chosen a world where magic is abundant. They will fight against the dark ones who would control their choices and paths on this life plane. Once born into the dream world, all memories of their choices will fade and their new story begins. The Dark Lord and other dark souls desire the abilities of the light ones for their own and will use anything or anyone to get what they want. All of their stories are but one tiny tale in the infinite bounds of all eternity.
