We got the ball first in the second half and George hit his two-hand set shot to increase our lead. We traded buckets with the Fantastic Five for the first ten minutes. A Twinkie elbowed me in the cheek when I tried dribbling past him and I lost the ball to his twin. The twin missed his shot and I grabbed the rebound and headed downcourt. This time I didn't dribble past the Twinkie who'd elbowed me -- I ran into him on purpose and sent him flying across the parquet floor.
“Flagrant!” said Wayne.
The whistle blew. “Two shots,” said Farley.
The Twinkie made one of two foul shots. In the next five minutes Wayne hurt us with ten straight points -- everything he threw up either swished through the net or bounced off the backboard and angled in for the score. Our lead vanished.
