A fictionalized account of the bondage of the children of Israel in Egypt as seen through the eyes of a young prince of Phoenicia in the form of letters to his mother. It is the first book in the author's trilogy; the second book is The Throne of David and the third is The Prince of the House of David. A popular novel from this prolific novelist, and minister, from Holly Springs, Mississippi.
