Reality is defined as the state of things as they actually exist, rather than as they may appear or might be imagined, and includes everything that has ever existed, exists, or will exist, whether or not it is observable or comprehensible. However, there is simply and literally no proof of reality beyond the perceptions or beliefs we each have about reality. Therefore, perception is the only reality we know. No one can claim that the images that appear in the brain are a true reflection of the original images in the external world because there is no evidence, since nobody has ever been able to move out from the perceptions that exist in the brain. Everybody lives an entire life in the prison cell of the brain, and no one can experience anything besides that which appears in the perception. All the views that you see before your eyes are apparently outside of you. But the view that you see forms in the vision center of the brain. The vision is so convincing that appears to be reality. Hence, whenever you look at the world around you, you are not really looking outside, but you are looking at your own interior, where the screen in your brain shows the picture of a world that you believe is outside of you. Your life is thus a collection of perceptions that are observed in the screen of your brain, from which you can never escape.
