The Parable of a Horse — Matthew Sparks

"The Parable of a Horse" follows the life of a young Saddlebred who is taken from his mother and placed into the confusing world of the humans. He struggles to accept his new life and experiences cruelty, kindness, and the burden of being a horse in a pre-dominantly human world. Along the way, he finds himself questioning what life really means and in the end he must accept the fate that has been chosen for him by those who own him. "The Parable of a Horse" asks us to look at life through another's eyes and forces the question: How would you feel?
