A few years ago, the author met a public figure at Fiumicino airport, who gave her some confidential documents concerning a case of alien abduction lived by a young couple who died, later on, in unknown circumstances. This man invited her to tell the facts of these testimonies in a novel, with a double purpose: on one hand, to hide the identities of the protagonists, first of all his; on the other hand, not to alter the contents of the abduction. Based on his experience indeed, he thought the alien abduction occurred for real and it should have been disclosed due to the delicacy of the topics involved. Later on, a series of events brought the author to write the book with an editorial cut.An incredible true story that leads us to meditate on the weight that coincidences and mystery may have on our daily life and how it is difficult to extract an objective reality from the description of the experiences that upset our usual thinking parameters and convictions.
