The Music Trees — Oliver Postgate

The Clangers - first seen on TV - appear now in book form in one of a series of adventures. The Soup Dragon eats all but two of the musical notes from a large iron egg. However when these are planted in the ground of the pale blue planet, music trees spring up to entertain the Clangers.
