That was Susanna. Rescued from the Indians by young army corporal Andrew Tendall. Susanna unfolded the hair-raising tale of her capture and bizarre disfigurement. But Andrew did not care about the strange tattoo on her lovely face, and knew he could not abandon her. He found a home for her with friends. But this was short-lived, and Andrew risked a court-martial to again rescue the girl who was slowly becoming a woman.
